Investigation into Tsapok gang member’s case over

Ryabtsev volunteered to cooperate with detectives and provided detailed information about the gang and its crimes

MOSCOW, February 17 (Itar-Tass) —— The North Caucasian Federal District Department of the Russian Investigation Committee has completed the investigation into the case of Vyacheslav Ryabtsev, a member of the Tsapok gang that operated in the village of Kushchevskaya in the Krasnodar territory, Investigation Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said on Friday.

“Ryabtsev is charged with banditry, murder, car theft, deliberate property damage, assault and illegal weapon,” he said. “He is suspected of killing three men and perpetrating a number of attacks together with other gang members. He also took part in the killing of twelve people in Kushchevskaya.”

Ryabtsev volunteered to cooperate with detectives and provided detailed information about the gang and its crimes.

A deputy prosecutor general approved Ryabtsev’s bill of indictment on Friday.
