PERM, February 17 (Itar-Tass) —— A woman and a child died in a fire at a dormitory of the Perm river transport school in the city of Perm, a spokesman for the Perm territory administration of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Friday.
The fire broke out at 13:21 local time (11:21 a.m. Moscow time). Twenty people were evacuated from the dormitory building, and 300 people were evacuated from the school, which is adjacent to the dormitory. A woman and a child were found unconscious in the room where the fire started. They died in an ambulance car.
A pre-investigation check has been launched.
