MOSCOW, February 17 (Itar-Tass) —— Close to 400 Russian bailiffs were brought to criminal responsibility in 2011 mostly for bribes and fraud, Director of the Federal Bailiff Service Artur Parfenchikov said on Thursday.
He said 397 bailiffs were exposed by anti-corruption department of his service which is 34 more than in 2010.
Eighty-one criminal cases were related to bribe-taking and 93 to embezzlements and fraud. Others were related to office abuse and misreporting.
