MOSCOW, February 16 (Itar-Tass) — Reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas is an obstacle for the resumption of the Palestinian-Israeli dialogue, Israeli Ambassador to Moscow Dorit Golender said on Thursday.
“Reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas presents a real obstacle towards resumption of negotiations between Israel and Palestine,” the ambassador noted. “Hamas is a terrorist organization, which denies the existence of the state of Israel and seeks to destroy it. Hamas cannot be a legitimate partner of Israel at talks,” she stressed.
