Tehran suspects Iran’s military potential under IAEA surveillance

Commenting on why IAEA inspectors cannot visit the Parchin facility, the ambassador said, “Parchin is a military facility and not a nuclear one"

MOSCOW, February 16 (Itar-Tass) — Tehran suspects that Iran’s military potential and not the nuclear one is under the IAEA surveillance, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi said.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Sajjadi said, “We don’t rule out that the IAEA made surveillance of our country’s nuclear potential.”

Commenting on why IAEA inspectors cannot visit the Parchin facility, the ambassador said, “Parchin is a military facility and not a nuclear one. One day we’ve allowed IAEA inspectors to visit it. Nobody found there anything nuclear.”
