Russia to help Vietman produce Uran anti-ship missiles

Production facilities will be deployed in Vietnam in accordance with the plan, in the same way as it was done with the Russian-Indian BrahMos project

MOSCOW, February 16 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia will help Vietnam produce Uran anti-ship missiles, director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail Dmitriyev said.

Production facilities will be deployed in Vietnam in accordance with  the plan, in the same way as it was done with the Russian-Indian BrahMos project, Dmitriyev said.

The official recalled that the Bastion anti-ship system had been established in Vietnam earlier. "Vietnam asks to deploy one more division," he added.
