AMSTERDAM, February 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov does not rule out that the Libyan scenario may repeat in Syria.
“Compromising materials about Syria are being amassed. They may be used as an excuse for something similar with the Libyan events,” he said upon the arrival in Amsterdam.
“The idea of the Friends to Syria Group is an invitation to the international community to take a side in the conflict. The international community has already taken a lot of effort to persuade the opposition not to negotiate with the authorities,” Lavrov said.
