MOSCOW, February 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Dagestani militant leader Ibragim-Khalil Daudov aka “Saleh” is dead, a representative of the National Counter Terrorism Committee told Itar-Tass.
He said Daudov was killed in the Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan, in a police operation in Gurbuki, on February 11. Daudov led militants operating in the republic after the death of the former militant leader Validzhanov, he said.
“The neutralization of the militant leader made it possible to thwart criminal acts he was planning,” the source said.
