KIEV, February 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko refused being examined by an international medical commission, the Ukrainian Penitentiaries Service told Itar-Tass.

“The commission comprising six Ukrainian doctors and five physicians from Canada and Germany came to the Kharkov Kachanovskaya penitentiary today to examine Yulia Timoshenko. The commission was due to make the examination by Timoshenko’s demand, but she refused to let the specialists of the Ukrainian Health Ministry examine her,” the Service said.

The decision was acknowledged with a protocol. The commission is considering its further actions.
