MOSCOW, February 13 (Itar-Tass) —— President Dmitry Medvedev congratulated world renowned figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova on her jubilee celebrated on February 13, the Kremlin press service said on Monday.
"You are highly appreciated in Russia and abroad as an outstanding coach who raised Olympic champions and medal winners in the most prestigious figure skating competitions. Excellent technique skills and a high artistic merit demonstrated by the skaters you coached - Irina Rodnina, Irina Moiseyeva and Andrei Minenkov, Natalia Bestemyanova and Andrei Bukin, Marina Klimova, Alexei Yagudin and others aroused sincere admiration of millions of figure skating lovers.
“I am glad that you continue coaching talented young skaters and pay great attention to the popularization of figure skating in Russia," Medvedev said in a message of greetings addressed to the famous coach.
