TSKHINVALI, February 13. / ITAR-TASS/. Alla Dzhioeva will be transferred from the intensive care unit to the therapy department of the hospital. As the intensive care unit of the Republican Hospital told ITAR-TASS "the patient's condition is satisfactory, there is no need for her to remain in the emergency unit."
The decision to transfer Dzhioeva was made today as a result of her medical examination.
On February 9, Alla Dzhioeva, the former presidential candidate, was admitted to the hospital, diagnosed with a stroke.
The situation in South Ossetia is calm, law enforcers said. South Ossetia is preparing for the presidential election due to take place on March 25. Signatures are being collected in support of the candidates nominated by the initiative groups of voters.
In the meantime potential candidates for South Ossetian presidency are preparing to take a language test in Russian and Ossetian (state) languages.
The South Ossetian Central Election Commission registered no official candidates yet. February 29 was announced to be a deadline by which the presidential candidates are to be registered.
