Govt to check efficiency of benefits for disabled persons’ employers

Of late we’ve taken a wide range of decisions on tax incentives for employers who employ disabled persons

MOSCOW, February 13 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s government will assess how effectively benefits for disabled persons’ employers work, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin wrote in his article published in the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily on Monday.

“Of late we’ve taken a wide range of decisions on tax incentives for employers who employ disabled persons,” he wrote. “The government together with interested public organizations has to assess until the end of 2012 how effective these measures are and to take additional steps in this sphere if necessary.”

The head of government stressed the need for creating a system that “would help every disabled person who wishes to study, work and find his/her own educational and professional growth path – from a specialized educational program to a workplace especially adjusted to his/her needs.”
