KRASNAYA POLYANA, Krasnodar territory, February 12 (Itar-Tass) — International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission Chairman Jean-Claude Killy is confident that Olympic sites in Sochi will be ready far ahead of the Games.
He thanked Russia for the first results of the work done in the past five years and said that few countries were capable of starting from the scratch and offering Games of the level expected from Russia.
In his opinion, Russia is ready to host the Games. The most difficult part of the work has been done, but there still more work to do in the upcoming two years, Killy said. It is necessary to finish the construction of hotels and other buildings, he noted.
