KIEV, February 10 (Itar-Tass) —— Foreign and Ukrainian specialists will conduct a medical examination of the former Ukrainian prime minister and the leader of the Batkivshchina opposition party, Yulia Tymoshenko, on February 13, the press service of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office reported on Friday. Tymoshenko serves her sentence in the penitentiary in Kharkov.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office will contribute to the arrangements of Tymoshenko's medical examination by international and Ukrainian doctors next Monday,” the press service said.

Doctors from Germany and Canada will arrive to Ukraine on Monday. Together with the Ukrainian doctors they will hold a medical examination on the former premier.

Foreign doctors previously planned to conduct a medical examination on Tymoshenko on February 8. However, on Thursday the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated  that the medical examination on the former prime minister is delayed and will take place at a later date, because Canada did not provide necessary documents. Meanwhile, Ukraine did not receive the list of medical equipment, which is planned to be brought to the country for Tymoshenko's medical examination.
