IRKUTSK, February 10 (Itar-Tass) —— Two senior high school students have been detained in the Irkutsk region on suspicion of murdering an elderly couple, a spokesman for the local administration of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Friday.
Two dead bodies of a 84-year-old man and his 83-year-old wife were found in their house in the settlement of Ust-Ordynsky on Thursday. The two had numerous knife wounds. Police say a small sum was stolen from the house.
Police detained two teenagers aged 15 and 16, pupils of the local school, who are suspected of committing the crime.
