Medvedev urges police to combat corruption without taking into account any political structures

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev demanded from the Interior Ministry to combat corruption more actively “without taking into account any political structures”

MOSCOW, February 10 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Dmitry Medvedev demanded from the Interior Ministry to combat corruption more actively “without taking into account any political structures.”

“It is necessary to combat all cases of extortion and bribery without taking into account any posts. I demand from the ministry to act more actively, without any fuss if some problems emerge,” Medvedev said at an enlarged meeting of the Interior Ministry board on Friday.

“If you have a position, act if you believe it is right, without taking into account any political structures,” the president underlined.
