MOSCOW, February 10 (Itar-Tass) — A truck driver was hurt as his truck hit a pedestrian overpass in the town of Krasnogorsk outside of Moscow, local police told Itar-Tass on Friday.
According to police, the accident took place at about 10:00 a.m. Moscow time at the junction of the Volokolamskoye Highway and the Kasnogorsky Boulevard. “The truck was heading to Moscow when its back elevated due to unknown reasons. The truck hit the pedestrian overpass and overturned. The driver received injuries.” police said.
The accident caused a huge traffic jam.
An investigation is underway.
