TSKHINVAL, February 10 (Itar-Tass) — The condition of thr former South Ossetian presidential candidate Alla Dzhioyeva is assessed by the doctors as serious but stable. Currently, the issue of her transportation to a Russian medical institution is being decided upon, a doctor of the intensive care unit of the republican hospital in Tskhinval told reporters.

According to him, the 62-year-old Dzhioyeva is “conscious, talks,” her husband is staying with her. Her hospital ward is guarded by police.

The republic’s Interior Ministry said that “the situation remained calm, no incidents occurred in Tskhinval overnight.” During the night Dzhioyeva’s supporters did not appear either near the house of the former presidential candidate or near the hospital.

Last Thursday, Alla Dzhioyeva was taken to the republican hospital in Tskhinval with a diagnosis “hypertensive crisis.” According to the South Ossetian Prosecutor General’s Office, the woman started feeling bad during a conversation with the investigator who came to her headquarters serving on her a writ to come to the Prosecutor General’s office for giving witness testimony in a criminal case on the attempted seizure of the buildings of the republic’s bodies of executive authority in late 2011 .
