MOSCOW, February 9. / ITAR-TASS /. Vladimir Putin considers it appropriate to limit New Year's holidays, ending them on January 7, and to move the remaining vacation days to May.
"Our holidays are long, and all these prolonged Christmas holidays can be limited and end let's say on January 7 - Christmas. And all the left over days could be stored and used in let's say May, it is what is wanted by people," - he said, admitting that he randomnly addressed this topic.
According to him, prolonged New Year's holidays are tough on people's health.
