Russia and Morocco sign an agreement on military cooperation

The document is designed to create a legal base for the relations between the two states

MOSCOW, February 9 (Itar-Tass) — Russia and Morocco have signed an agreement on military cooperation. The ceremony took place in Russia’s Defense Ministry on Thursday, an official at the ministry’s press service and information department told Itar-Tass.

“The document is designed for creating a legal base of relations between the Russian and Moroccan defense ministries,” the official said.

The agreement was signed by Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Russia Abdelkader Lechecheb.
