Teenager commits suicide jumping out of 12th floor window in Moscow

According to police, the boy’s father accused his of stealing cell phones from his classmates

MOSCOW, February 8 (Itar-Tass) — One more adolescent suicide case was reported in Moscow, the second one in this week, when a 14-year-old jumped out the 12th floor window, police told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

The teenager died instantly from lethal injuries.

According to police, the boy’s father accused his of stealing cell phones from his classmates. The boy locked himself in his room and jumped out of the window.

Another teen suicide case was reported on Tuesday, when two 14-year-old girls jumped from the roof of a 16-storey building in the town of Lobnya outside Moscow. In a suicide note they wrote they were afraid of sanctions after a two-week truancy. A criminal case was opened on charges of incitement to suicide.
