MOSCOW, February 8 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Central Election Commission’s to refuse registration of Grigory Yavlinsky,  Yabloko's first leader and co-founder, as a presidential candidate.

Thus, the court declined to satisfy Yavlinsky’s claim.

In compliance with the law he has the right to appeal against the court’s decision.
