KIEV, February 8 (Itar-Tass) — Naftogaz Ukraine paid Russia’s Gazprom about 800 million dollars for January supplies, the company’s press service reported on Wednesday.

The price for gas in the first quarter of the year is 416 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres.

On December 5, 2011, Naftogaz and Gazprom signed an additional agreement on gas supplies, where they extended terms of payment for the supplied gas to the 28th day of every month. Earlier, the due date was the seventh day.
