VLADIVOSTOK, February 8 (Itar-Tass) — A wooden house burned down in Yakutsk on Wednesday morning, four aged people were killed in the blaze.
According to the Far Eastern Regional Centre of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM), fire fighters were trying to put out the fire for several hours. Due to the fact that the fire alarm came too late, the blaze spread all over the house and it collapsed as a result. The bodies of four people were later found at the accident site.
Another wooden house burned down in Komsomolsk-on-Amur on Wednesday morning resulting in the death of three people. The causes of the two blazes are currently being ascertained by investigation groups of operatives and inquiry officers of the EMERCOM's Fire Safety Inspection Service.
