DAMASCUS, February 7 (Itar-Tass) — Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is ready for dialogue with all political forces in the country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.

"Clearly, the efforts towards stopping violence should be accompanied by launching a dialogue between all the political forces," Lavrov said adding that the Syrian president had confirmed his readiness to contribute to this work.
