MOSCOW, February 7 (Itar-Tass) —— As many as 1.3 million people are involved in the preparations for the presidential elections due on March 4, chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) Vladimir Churov said on Tuesday.
According to Churov, they are members of the local election commissions, observers, members of the election commissions with advisory vote rights from political parties, and election agents of candidates.
He noted that more than 700,000 of those who will monitor the vote counting procedure are representatives from political parties and candidates.
