NOVO-OGARYOVO, Moscow region, February 6 (Itar-Tass) — Privatization of Russia’s natural gas industry giant, Gazprom, is not ruled out in the future, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Monday as he met with a group of political scientists.
“Once in the past, we stopped short of privatizing Gazprom in full, and your humble servant returned control over the corporation to the state,” he said.
“That’s a separate story and someday Gazprom’s will work in a different mode,” Putin said.
