MOSCOW, February 6 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he would give the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad a message from the Russian president in Damascus.
After talks with Bahraini Foreign Minister Khaled bin Ahmed Al Khalifa on Monday, Lavrov said the contents of the document would be known only to the addressee.
At the same time, the Russian minister said, “When anyone leaves anywhere on the instruction of the head of state, the essence of the mission will be known only to the addressee.”
