MOSCOW, February 5 (Itar-Tass) —— The communication infrastructure, which Rostelecom is to organise for web broadcast from election stations, will let the company in future provide new services to its subscribers, Rostelecom’s CEO Alexander Provotorov said.
The company will have to make own investments in the project, as its market price is a above the 13 billion roubles, allocated from the federal budget. The company does not specify the amount of the investments, but claims that in the long run the project will be profitable for them.
“It enables us to improve our net significantly,” Provotorov said stressing the company had already planned investments in development of communication infrastructures within next two, three, four and five years.
“Now, we are at the stage of ‘inventing’ products and services to offer to our clients,” he said. “I believe the result will be interesting.”
He added that for implementation of the project, the company is planning bond placement.
“Now the project is being discussed,” he said. “We are going to register a big placement.”
It may be worth dozens billion roubles, he added.
