MOSCOW, February 4 (Itar-Tass) — More and more people are joining the public actions of various political forces that have been authorized by Moscow City authorities, the press service of Moscow’s Department of the Interior has told Itar-Tass.

“The number of participants in the action on Poklonnaya Hill /a big memorial square and park west off the city center, also known abroad as the Mount of Glory/ has increased to 56,000 and some 14,500 people are currently moving along Yakimanka Street towards Bolotnaya Square,” an official at the press service said. “More people continue arriving at the sites of the rallies.”

A total of four multi-thousand rallies are held in Moscow Saturday. At 13:00 hours, a street march ‘For Fair Election’ began.

The action on Poklonnaya Hill waves the slogan saying “We Do Have Something to Lose. Nadezhna Korneyeva, a deputy chairperson of the Russian Patriots Party, who put her signature on the request for authorizing the rally, said: “The main thing for us is to say a word for a great Russia that will revive.”

“We don’t want a slide back into the 1990’s and, in this sense, we are against the orange, pink or other ‘color’ revolutions,” she said.

Ultraliberal forces are gathering their political associated on the Prospekt Sakharova Avenue. They have refused to take part in the march ’For Fair Elections’ together with the Communists and Nationalists.

According to the petition its organizers have filed with authorities, some 30,000 or so people are expected to come to Prospekt Sakharova.
