Yanukovich will make a working visit to Germany on February 3-4 to take part in the 48th Munich Security Conference

KIEV, February 2 (Itar-Tass) — Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich will make a working visit to Germany on February 3-4 to take part in the 48th Munich Security Conference, the presidential press service reported on Thursday.

Presidential chief of staff Sergei Levochkin said Yanukovich would give a speech at a meeting devoted to the new security paradigms.

The agenda of the visit will also include bilateral meetings, Levochkin said.

The Munich Security Conference is a forum, which annually gathers the heads of state and government, parliamentarians, famous political scientists, scientists and experts to discuss key international, military, political and security problems.

The February Munich Conference will focus on strengthening energy security and overcoming the global financial and economic crisis.
