MOSCOW, February 2 (Itar-Tass) — The Russian Central Election Commission registered 179 election agents of the presidential candidate Mikhail Prokhorov.
Among them are not only media representatives and businessmen, but also pensioners and the unemployed. The list involved Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, who is named as “an individual entrepreneur”. The list also includes actor Leonid Yarmolnik, writer Viktor Yerofeyev; director-general of the All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature Yekaterina Geniyeva; director-general of the 36’6 Pharmacy Chain Artyom Bektimirov; Yevgeniy Roizman, a public activist from the city of Yekaterinburg known for his controversial practice of forced treatment for drug addicts; and others. Election agents live in different regions of the country.
According to the CEC, earlier Prokhorov registered 192 election agents. Thus, their number reached 371 people.
