Rogozin's two former fellow party members get jobs in govt

MOSCOW, February 2 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin's two former fellow party members have got jobs in the Russian government. Rogozin himself said this in his Twitter blog on Wednesday. In the mid-2000s, he was the Motherland party's leader.

Ivan Kharchenko, former first deputy head of the Motherland party's members in the State Duma and a former missile officer, has become a new member of the government's military industry commission.

Dmitry Stupakov, the party's former chief of staff in the State Duma, is appointed to head Rogozin's secretariat in the government.

Rogozin, who was appointed vice-premier in December 2011, is in charge of the defence industrial sector development, state order fulfillment and the implementation of the state armaments programme for 2011-2020.
