Kyrgyz, RF presidents discuss bilateral relations by telephone

President Almazbek Atambayev of Kyrgyzstan and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation to discuss issues of bilateral relations

BISHKEK, January 30 (Itar-Tass) —— President Almazbek Atambayev of Kyrgyzstan and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation to discuss issues of bilateral relations, ITAR-TASS learned at a press service of the Kyrgyz head of state on Monday.

According to the information of the press service, during a telephone conversation held on Sunday evening the sides “outlined the main issues of the agenda of interstate talks” which are planned to be held in Moscow in the third decade of February.

“The presidents express firm intention to give a powerful impulse to bilateral interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in all spheres of mutual interest,” a representative of the press service of the Kyrgyz president said.

The Kremlin press service confirmed that Medvedev and Atambayev held a telephone conversation, however, didn’t give any details of the conversation.
