MOSCOW, January 29 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has warned Muscovites about the approaching abnormal frosts.
“The capital city will see abnormally low temperatures. Residents should stay indoors as much as possible in order to avoid hypothermia and frostbites,” a source at the city emergency situations department told Itar-Tass.
“Tight or wet clothes and footwear, cardiovascular problems, alcohol abuse, weakness and fatigue may lead to frostbites,” he said.
Also the department asked Muscovites to be careful with electric heaters in order to avoid fires.
