VLADIVOSTOK, January 29 (Itar-Tass) —— A fire broke out at the children’s city hospital of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on Sunday night. Electric wiring caught fire in the infectious diseases department on the ground floor.

Eighty-one patients, including 46 children, were evacuated. No one was hurt, the Sakhalin regional emergency situations department told Itar-Tass.

Twenty-seven firemen on eight fire engines arrived to the hospital. The fire area was small and the flame was put out within 30 minutes. The cause of the fire and the damage are being investigated.
