10 houses turned off during fire in transformer pillar in west of Moscow

Measures are being taken to restore electricity supplies in residential houses

MOSCOW, January 28 (Itar-Tass) — Ten houses have turned off as a result of a fire at a transformer pillar in the west of Moscow.

The fire occurred at the transformer pillar at Roshchupkin Street, the press service of the emergency department told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

The area of the fire is being specified, the press service said. “As a result of the incident ten houses, three kindergartens and a school have turned off,” the press service reported.

Rescuers work on the ground. Measures are being taken to restore electricity supplies in residential houses.
