Cargo spacecraft progress docks with ISS in automatic mode

Progress delivered to the ISS more than 2.6 tonnes of various cargoes

KOROLYOV, Moscow Region, January 28 (Itar-Tass) —— This year’s first cargo spacecraft progress has docked with the International Space Station.

“At 04:09 Moscow time Progress M-14M docked with the module Pirs in the automatic mode,” Mission Control near Moscow said.

Progress delivered to the ISS more than 2.6 tonnes of various cargoes, including foods, water, sanitary and hygiene items, fuel, equipment and presents for the crew.

Currently the ISS is manned by the 30th main expedition – Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov, Anatoly Ivanishin and Oleg Kononenko, NASA’s astronauts Daniel Burbank and Donald Petit and European Space Agency astronaut Andre Kuipers.
