MOSCOW, January 27 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian Central Elections Commission denied registration as a presidential candidate for one of the founders of the Yabloko Party Grigory Yavlinsky on Friday.
The percentage of false and invalid signatures exceeded 25% in Yavlinsky’s signup lists that is five times more than the permissible percentage.
So, Yavlinsky cannot run in the presidential elections due on March 4.
