BEIRUT, January 27 (Itar-Tass) —— Syria’s official SANA news agency said terrorist groups continued attacks on government forces and residents in the city of Homs on Thursday.
An armed group shelled al-Naziheen, Wadi al-Dhab and al-Zahra neighborhoods of Homs with grenades killing four and wounding twenty people, it reported.
An army colonel and a policeman were also shot and killed in Homs.
SANA also said authorities seized weapons and ammunition in Douma and Harasta suburbs of Damascus and in Hama city. The authorities also discovered a deserted house that the armed groups used to torture kidnapped citizens. “Arab League observers documented the seized weapons and the torture room in Douma,” the agency said.
