RF gov't to examine variouis aspects of labour relations Thurs

MOSCOW, January 26 (Itar-Tass) — Various aspects of labour relations will be the main subject of discussion at a Russian govenment session here on Thursday. The session is to be presided over by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Minister of Health and Social Development Tatiana Golikova will present a draft law on ratification of the Convention on the upholding of the working people's demands in the event of insolvency of an entrepreneur, a government official said. Following the adoption of the document, Russia will join up the other countries in the observance of the universally recognized international labour norms, on the basis of which national labour legislations are created.

Konstantin Romodamovsky, Director of the Federa Migration Service, will make a report on the signing of an intergovernmental agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan on cooperation on labour migration matters.

The government will also consider the Finance Ministry tax bill which suggests establishing a procedure contributing to the earliest renewal of fixed assets, and to innovation and investment processes. The Cabinet of Ministers is to mull vesting the Ministry of Natural Resources with additional powers in the monitoring of game hunting.

Minister of Sports and Tourism Vitaly Mutko is to speak on the setting up of an organizing committee on preparation for and holding of World Games of Martial Arts. These competitions are to be held in St Petersburg from October 18 to 27, 2013.
