MOSCOW, January 25 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday Moscow is ready to restore diplomatic relations with Tbilisi, but only in case of Georgia’s regime change.
“We are absolutely ready to restore diplomatic relations with Georgia,” he told a meeting with students of Moscow State University’s journalism faculty.
“This is not us who broke (the relations),” the president said adding that he was not ready to discuss the theme with President Mikhail Saakashvili.
