Russia doesn’t breach commitments in military hardware delivery to Syria – diplomat

"We developed military cooperation with Syria in all periods, even before Bashar al-Asad took the office," Bogdanov said

MOSCOW, January 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia does not breach international commitments regarding the delivery of military hardware to Syria, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Tuesday.

“We do not breach our commitments by international conventions and agreements concerning the exports of military hardware, in particularly, to Syria. There are no such international sanctions,” he said.

“We developed military cooperation with Syria in all periods, even before Bashar al-Asad took the office. If a new government is formed, we will continue the same policy in compliance with our international commitments and mutual interests,” Bogdanov said.
