State Duma opposition makes motion of no-confidence in Churov

The State Duma opposition has made a motion of no-confidence in Central Elections Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov

MOSCOW, January 24 (Itar-Tass) —— The State Duma opposition – the Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party and A Just Russia – has made a motion of no-confidence in Central Elections Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov, Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov told a Tuesday press conference.

“The three fractions have made a motion of no-confidence in Churov and his team,” he said.

The State Duma opposition demanded the dismissal of Churov many times. He was invited to visit the State Duma on January 27 for a scrutiny of the parliamentary election of December 4, 2011
