SEOUL, January 24 (Itar-Tass) —— In 2011 financial year which ends in September, the United States supplied the DPRK with goods worth 38.3 million dollars, which is 12 times more than in 2010, the news agency Yonhap reported on Tuesday.
According to the information of the US Department of Commerce, in the 2010 financial year, supplies to the North were estimated at merely 3.1 million dollars.
The overwhelming majority (99.8 percent) of goods supplied to the North Korea by the US government consisted of foodstuffs and medicines. The rest of the sum equal to 87,000 dollars - - falls on mobile electric generators, devices for guarding systems and appliances.
