MOSCOW, January 23 (Itar-Tass) —— A self-nominee for Russian presidency, Governor of the Irkutsk Region Dmitry Mezentsev will be dropped from the presidential race over the insufficient number of authentic signatures, the examination of the signup lists of a presidential candidate from the Yabloko Party Grigory Yavlinsky will continue, Secretary of the Russian Central Elections Commission Nikolai Konkin said on Monday.
“There are all reasons to drop Mezentsev, the examination of Yavlinsky’s signup lists will continue,” he said on Monday.
