PNA president wishes to attend opening of new mosque in Moscow

He made the statement after a meeting with Chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis Ravil Gainutdin

MOSCOW, January 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Palestinian National Authority (PNA) President Mahmud Abbas told reporters in Moscow on Sunday that he would like to attend the opening of a new mosque in the Russian capital city.

He made the statement after a meeting with Chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis Ravil Gainutdin. “We congratulated the mufti on the big project – the construction of a new mosque in Moscow. Hopefully, we will attend the opening ceremony,” he said.
