Medvedev’s supporters launch site Rossiyabezdurakov.rf to deride bureaucratic fooleries

An idea of creating a contest for the most idiotic administrative decision was voiced for the first time

MOSCOW, January 21 (Itar-Tass) — Sympathisers of President Dmitry Medvedev launched the site Rossiyabezdurakov.rf. which will deride bureaucratic fooleries.

According to the president’s adviser Mikhail Abyzov, “Rossiyabezdurakov.rf.— is a new project of the Grand Government, aimed at revealing the most senseless and stifling-life bureaucratic procedures and decisions”.

”All who come across foolish, irrational decisions, non-optimal procedures, harmful for normal life, for full-fledged development of our country, have now a chance to make them public and to achieve their rectification,” he said. “Guided by exposed facts and offered proposals, decisions will be made to ditch them or to correct, while in special cases, appropriate organizational conclusions will be taken.”

The project is funded by Abyzov and a number of members of the Public Committee of Medvedev supporters.

A citizen may put a foolish thing on the site, geographically linking it to a specific area on the country’s map. Following its publication on the site, it turns into a subject for close examination by deputies of legislative and executive bodies of government.

An idea of creating a contest for the most idiotic administrative decision was voiced for the first time by Medvedev in Yekaterinburg at a meeting with members of small business and active members of the United Russia Party.

“There is an idea, dealing with various types of administrative regulations, various 'interesting' administrative rules, interfering with business development,” said the head of state. “It seems to me that apart from 'administrative guillotine', it is possible to stage one more contest in our country on the most foolish administrative regulations or on the most idiotic administrative decision, interfering with business development.”
