ULYANOVSK, January 20 (Itar-Tass) —— Ulyanovsk’s aircraft construction enterprise Aviastar JV will produce up to ten An-124 Ruslan jets before 2020, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told reporters on Friday.
In addition to civil Tu-204 and Tu-204SM aircrafts, the enterprise will be producing transport Il-476 cargo plane, he said.
"The large fleet of unique Ruslan aircrafs will be refurbished and upgraded to 2020,” Rogozin said. – “And up to 30 new aircrafts will be built."
This work is implementation of the state programme on armament for 2011-2020.
Rogozin stressed that "the most important task now is to distribute issues between the Defence Ministry and the industry." It is necessary to estimate a price formula, where enterprises may have high profitability, said Deputy Prime Minister.
