All equipment for presidential election broadcasting brought to RF

Six airliners (with the equipment) arrived, another one is expected to arrive

MOSCOW, January 19 (Itar-Tass) — Almost all equipment for video broadcasts from polling stations at the Russian presidential elections was already delivered to the country, deputy director of a department in the Communications Ministry Pavel Pugachev said on Thursday.

“Almost all equipment is already delivered to Russia. Six airliners (with the equipment) arrived, another one is expected to arrive. Some 27 trucks were brought for the transportation of the equipment,” he said.

Pugachev noted that in the project for video broadcasts from the polling stations “major funds are spent not even on web cameras, but the creation of a network, reinforced telecommunications mainlines and the equipment of the polling stations.”
